Scott Grosscup obtained his bachelor\u2019s degree from the Colorado College in 1996 and law degree from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in 2004. Scott has been with Balcomb & Green for 18 years. His practice focuses on water rights adjudications, real property, and government representation. Prior to moving to the West Slope, Scott served as a law clerk for the Honorable Justice Michael Bender on the Colorado Supreme Court.<\/p>\n
Scott became involved in water law and local government law as a committee staff member at the Colorado General Assembly before and during law school. He now serves as general counsel for the Roaring Fork Water & Sanitation District, the Yellow Jacket Water Conservancy District, and as special counsel to the Upper Yampa Water Conservancy District on the Yampa River. Scott also represents ski areas, industries, and individual property owners.\u00a0 Scott has trial experience in the water court and appellate experience before the Colorado Supreme Court.
