Milton Antonio Mendez (“Tony”) is an associate attorney with Balcomb & Green. He can assist in a wide variety of matters, including estate planning, landlord/tenant matters, real estate law, corporate law, local government law, and civil litigation.

Tony received his law degree at Vermont Law School. There, he participated as a Class Senator for the Student Bar Association and Co-Chaired the Latin-American Law Student Association. He also interned as an Advanced Energy Clinician at the law school’s Institute for Energy and the Environment, where he worked on funding and permitting of community solar systems for Resident-Owned Communities.

After law school, Tony began his legal career as a Staff Attorney with Alpine Legal Services, a non-profit civil legal aid organization that works from Aspen to Parachute, Colorado. He worked on matters involving domestic relations, landlord-tenant law, protection orders, probate, and simple estate planning.

Tony was raised in the Roaring Fork Valley. He is fluent in Spanish. Currently, he teaches the Legal Environment of Business course as an Adjunct Professor at Colorado Mountain College. Finally, Tony enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Lauren, their corgi, Maisy, as well as skiing and road biking.
