Ryan Scheidt
Associate
Overview
Ryan joined Balcomb & Green as an associate in September 2023. He can assist in a wide variety of matters including civil litigation, landlord-tenant matters, real property disputes, real estate transactions, homeowners’ association matters, and business and partnership disputes.
Ryan received his undergraduate degree in History and Political Science at the University of Michigan and decided to further his education by pursuing a Juris Doctor at American University Washington College of Law. During law school, Ryan was an executive board member of the Administrative Law Review and competed on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team.
Following law school, Ryan embarked on a two-year clerkship in Washington, D.C. with an Administrative Law Judge at the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission. During this time, he gained an in-depth understanding of not only the laws and regulations surrounding mine safety and health, but also the adjudication and mediation processes.
Ryan, who is native to the Roaring Fork Valley, looks forward to serving his local community. In his free time, Ryan enjoys skiing, hiking, golfing, and walking with his two dogs.
