George J. Tzanetopoulos

Overview
George J. Tzanetopoulos is a seasoned litigator who has represented clients in a wide variety of disputes in trials, appeals, regulatory proceedings, and arbitrations throughout the country. Before joining Balcomb & Green as Senior Counsel, he was a partner in the Chicago offices of the Mayer Brown and Baker & Hostetler firms, and an independent arbitrator.
George is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell® and has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America, including “Arbitration Lawyer of the Year” (Illinois 2012).
In addition to advocating for clients, George is a panelist on the American Arbitration Association’s National Roster of Arbitrators, panelist on FINRA’s roster of arbitrators, and serves as an arbitrator in non-administered arbitrations. George also serves as a mediator in commercial and other civil disputes.
